Samuel Aleman
Samuel & Carolina performing at Epic Dance fall of 2010.
Born in 1984 of Mexican descent, Samuel grew up in Houston, TX, yet he managed to retain his Latin roots. His enthusiasm for life, work, and inter-personal relations found an outlet in 2007 when he discovered salsa dancing in southeast Houston. Even with a basic background in ballroom dancing it was an uphill climb for Samuel to hone his dancing into what would one day become more than a passion, a profession. His first lessons were from Houston's SalsaEddy, one of Houston's top dancers, and that was only the beginning! A three year mentorship followed in which Samuel trained for competition and performance simultaneously learning to teach Salsa, Bachata, Merengue and Cha Cha Cha.

Hannah R. Aleman
In 1983 Hannah Brown made her debut into the world via Harris Hospital, Ft. Worth, TX. 25 years later, after living on three different continents, learning a second language, and dedicating herself to both academics and sports throughout high school and college, Hannah had become well acquainted with a life of diversity. When she was only eleven years old, her family moved to East Africa where they lived and worked as missionaries. At fifteen she, her brother, and her sister left home to go to a boarding school in Europe. It was later, as a young adult, that she returned to the USA to earn a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and French.
A couple years down the road in Richmond, Virginia, Hannah took her first dance class (Yes, you guessed it! Salsa). What started on a whim, ended as a new found passion. She went on to take classes and lessons from every Latin dance teacher she could find in Richmond, and only months after her first steps she was not only an avid social dancer, but a teacher's assistant for beginner students. In November of 2010 Hannah moved to Houston, Texas where soon after, she began working with her husband, Samuel Aleman.
